‘George IV: Art and Spectacles’ is a jewel box of treasures assembled by the Prince of Wales at Carlton House, and later for Windsor and Buckingham Palace.
As a reflection of the taste and discernment of the British ‘Sun-King’ the Royal Collection has put together an exhibition of his collection which reflects his celebration of victories in Europe and embraces the very best examples of European fine and decorative arts.

The Queen's Gallery is a public art gallery at Buckingham Palace, home of the British monarch, in London. It exhibits works of art from the Royal Collection on a rotating basis; about 450 works are on display at any one time.
Lunch: a table has been booked at the Rubens Hotel opposite the gallery. Could you please let us know if you are interested in joining us.
