Agnès Anquetin-Diaz will lead a walk in Soho in this part part of London where first the aristocrats, the Huguenots, evicted by Louis XIV, then the catholics during the revolution settled. When high society moved west, Soho became ‘le quartier chaud” of London Leicester Square became  the stronghold of rock and pop music. Soho with Covent Garden is now the place for cinema and theatre.

And to mark the 150th anniversary celebrations of Notre Dame de France, London 2015, we invite you to join us for the programme of music by: Léon Boellmann, Guy Ropartz, César Franck, Denis Bédard, Louis Vierne.

The organ has pipework from the original organ of 1868 which provided the church with a french toned instrument unlike any other in the UK at this time. S V Cauchefer-Choplin is well known as the best woman organist at improvising on a theme.
