Visit to Arundells, Salisbury, the home of former British Prime Minister, Sir Edward Heath KG MBE
On Wednesday 17th September 2025, to mark the close links with France of former British Prime Minister, Sir Edward Heath, the Franco-British Society organised a visit to Arundells, once his home, in Salisbury for a private guided tour.
During this visit, we learnt that beyond the political figure, Sir Edward Heath was a brilliant musician and a sailor.
The tour was followed by a buffet lunch at the Riflemans Table within the military museum and a guided tour of the Salisbury cathedral where Sir Edward was buried.
